New look SSL Website.

Hello Members,
Welcome to the new look SSL website.
Here's a quick run down of some of the new features you can find on the site.
All the information from the previous SSL website is still here and a bunch more stuff.
There are now a few forums, where you can post information about meetings, Advertise things you might want to sell or buy, talk about general topics, etc.
There is also a Photo album where you can create your own galleries and upload your photos to share with other members.
There are a few "Blocks" or segments of information located in the bottom section of the Homepage, things like the Current Weather, Past Events, New Forum topics, New Comments and Who's using the web site.These "Blocks" can be Shown or Hidden, and there is a handy [Hide Me] link at the bottom of any block you can Hide, Simply click this and the block will dissapear, to show the block again you will need to re-activate it from "My Account" -> "Edit" -> "Block Configuration" area of your user Profile.
An Event Calendar which will show you what's coming up in a handy "Upcoming Events" block located in the left hand panel of the web site, and a "Past Events" block located in the bottom section of the Homepage. - This new Event's section will make it simple for SSL website administrators to Add/Edit Events and Results.
Hi all
Finally we are up and running. Thanks to all in the committee that participated in getting the web up and a big thanks to Paul the web designer who is resident in Japan. Ah - the wonders of the modern world we live in.
I am thrilled to see the photo galleries expanding. What a collection of planes our members are puting together. I thought I was bad, but some of you - wow.
I am now re-editing some of the words, and potentially adding other info, so if you have anything to add let me know.

The new website looks brilliant! Very professional.
Done by a professional, that's why. I think it has a lot of potential once members get used to it.
Have just created a photo album and uploaded some photos taken at Jerilderie.

Yes, I like the weather feature, and its clean fresh look, very salubrious! Whoever designed this web site must be very good as it looks trick lush!!

It's good to see the new site is starting to grow with images of members planes, make sure you all start spreading the news as I know there are still a lot of members who dont seem to have logged in and added their own personal gallery of magnificent flying machines.
