SSL Park

SSL Park is the home of the Southern Soaring League, situated on Nine Mile Rd, 5 km outside of Milang. An easy 50 minute drive from Adelaide. The property is share cropped, but has space for winch lines in all directions. SSL Park is a registered CASA Model Flying Area.

Victoria Park

The first flying field was in the Adelaide Hills but early in the club's life permission was obtained to fly in the parks that surround the city of Adelaide. For those who don't know, the central business district of Adelaide is essentially a 1 mile square, surrounded by a 1/2 mile wide band of parks. We believe that such a central flying location is virtually unique. After initially flying in the South Parklands, the current venue is within the Victoria Park racecourse. 
Unfortunately due to redevelopment works by the council, we have been moved from our normal site and are flying to the south - adjacent to the Sth Terrace end of Beaumont Road. This is current of January 2012 and expected to be so until April. 12

Hallett Cove

Only 20km south of Adelaide, Hallett Cove is a popular slope soaring site overlooking Gulf St Vincent. Ideal for southwesterly winds. Remember this is a CONSERVATION PARK and it is essential to protect the vegetated areas. If you doubt your ability to fly and land in the landing area (see the map) ask for assistance from a more experienced pilot. If the conditions are marginal please do not fly, because retrieving gliders from the slope damages vegetation. All MASA members need to be mindful of this and to accept the challenge to educate non MASA members to do the same. Please stay on the paths and do not enter the vegetated areas. If we cannot do this we will lose this flying site. 'Combat' flying is not permitted at this site.

Tapanappa

Located in the Deep Creek Conservation Park at the southernmost tip of the Fleurieu Peninsula, the Tapanappa site is ideal for East to South East winds. A fee applies to enter the park for the day and a permit (free) is required to fly here. You can get the permit here.
